the single before my heart will go on! This came about as I was working for George Martin. It was recorded at Abby Road 2 and written by Carole King. Carole was there and played piano on it as I remember. She also insisted on having her picture taken with the band and George. I wish I could see that picture now! There was a chord chart and I played a little solo thing at the start. We got the sound up and went straight for a take, and that’s the one you hear. If you listen to the end you’ll hear Ianto stopping a bar early and blagging an ending, which I pointed out as we listened back but Carole loved it! So it was one to Iant!
